- Job title: Senior Teacher for Adult and YL Programmes

General Senior Teacher’s duties at allocated location
- Support and mentoring for teachers
- Monitoring of registers and teaching records
- Monitoring/updating notice boards
- Liaison with academic staff
- Adult/YL Induction of new teachers
Duties to include
- Syllabus maintenance and materials innovation on designated Adult/YL Programmes
- Workshop delivery
- Adult/YL classes teacher observation
- Lesson support for teachers
- Support for teachers on class management and administration issues
- Liaising with Customer Service Officers (CSOs), Teaching Assistants (TAs) and parents as issues arise
- Briefings for teachers on new courses
- Supporting Adult/YL Marketing activities and briefing teachers
- Cover teaching/stand-by
- Other duties as allocated by Academic Manager / Academic Coordinator
- Average of 15 hours teaching per week including workshops
- Weekly follow up sessions with new teachers
- Assisting the Adult/YL Coordinators on partnership projects with Vietnamese schools
- Job Requirement:

- The Cambridge RSA/ Trinity Certificate in TEFL.
- At least 3 years full time or equivalent part time experience of teaching EFL
- YL specific qualification (IHCYL or equivalent) desirable
- Experience of teaching over a wide range of ages
- IT skills: basic knowledge of Word and Excel
